Transport

You should aim to arrive at JBO before 1pm on Tuesday 25 April.  The
school will finish at 2pm on Friday 28 April and you will depart from
JBO.  The nearest public transport is Goostrey station, ~3km away.  It
lies on the line from Crewe to Manchester or Manchester Airport.
London - Crewe takes just over 2 hours.  Goostrey is a small country
station - no taxi rank!  So please give the exact time of your
arrival/departure well in advance so that we can arrange lifts for
you.  Some local train times to Goostrey etc. are given below.

If you are intending to drive, please inform us so that we can ensure
adequate parking.

The nearest airport is Manchester Airport, with rail connections to
Goostrey or Alderley Edge for JBO.  The London airports are ~5+
hours away by rail (expensive if not booked well in advance) or longer 
but cheaper by coach.

The nearest coach stations from most directions are Chorlton Street,
Manchester (near Manchester Picadilly rail station) or Manchester

If you have to arrive/depart much earlier or later than the times
above, please contact us.  If in that case you are travelling to/from
Hulme Hall, it is near Manchester Oxford Road station, with
connections to Manchester Airport, London etc.  There is also a bus
between Oxford Road and Manchester Airport.

Daily coach transport between JBO and Hulme Hall will be provided.  It
will be a lengthy and expensive process to get to/from JBO if you
miss the coach so please don't! We cannot offer lifts in this
eventuality unless it is a real emergency e.g. illness.
