Parameterised Workflows

Summary

Warning At present not all links work; in case of broken links please use the Help button from the workbench component directly.

AstroGrid Parameterised Workflows provide a ready-made series of complicated tasks linked together so that you only have to provide some simple constraints to obtain data. These values are entered in a very small web form. The underlying workflow is in the standard AstroGrid xml format which can, optionally, be saved and reloaded if you want to edit it or use it as a template. The data returned can be saved in MySpace or your desktop or sent to a suitable application for visualisation etc. depending on the nature of the data. You launch the workflows using the ParameterisedWorkflows menu on the Workbench. You will need an AstroGrid account in order to save the workflow xml script or output to MySpace.

Colour Cutter

The Colour Cutter selects IR (2MASS) and optical (UNSNO-B or INT_WFS) data from a given region with chosen colours. You specify the region and the colour limits.

CTIP model

The Coupled Thermosphere Ionosphere Plasma Model generates ASCII files containing ionospheric parameter values. You select the date and the solar F10.7 flux.

SDSS DR3 Image Query

The SDSS DR3 Image Query returns SDSS images covering the region of sky you specify.

A template workflow is also available to send a list of positions for queries about multiple objects.
